Mark’s Rugs started in 1968, in Kansas City in the Westport area. With decades of experience and excellent customer service, Mark’s Oriental Carpets and Rugs has become a trusted name in Kansas city and throughout the midwest. We have sold or supplied rugs through major department stores like Jones Store, Macy’s, Dillard’s, and ZCMI. Additionally, we helped start Nebraska Furniture Mart in “area rugs” in 1982. Numerous articles have been written about our rugs, including an article in Money Magazine under “Top Deals.” We have the finest selection of handmade rugs direct from the weavers. This enables us to keep up with colors and creation of the new designs. Our vast knowledge of the new and old rugs helps you make the right decision for your needs.

About Us
This business began when our founder started selling rugs to meet college tuition. We grew from there. We went from a flea market to a private store and later supplied rugs to major stores like Dillard's and Macy's. We enjoy making friends with our wholesale and retail customers.
